Design:
In the seventeenth century the English word “design” used to mean “make a plan of work”. The English word comes from the Latin “designare”: drawing, show, indicate.
It is in the United States and Great Britain that the word “design” in a broader sense was the creation of objects or characters, sometimes in industrial or artisanal in terms (it usually adds to it: money design , graphic design , product design , shelter design , art design). In the United States, the term “design” after the money crisis of 1929, frequently used in the development of the first agencies to industrial aesthetics, especially that of Raymond Loewy, pioneer of the profession of industrial designer.
